I can’t even begin to tell you how much I miss this funny little guy. I’ve been working on writing Fernando’s story but it’s taking some time. It’s not easy looking at his photos and it’s even more difficult writing about him. I still have those moments when I cannot believe he’s gone. I know he had a wonderful 16 months with us, but of course, that’s never enough. Fernando helped heal my heart after losing Harley, and I helped heal his after many years of abuse. We had a very special connection and I’ll share more about that in the very near future. Meanwhile, it’s so important to me that his memory stays alive.
