A Tribute to Princess Eleanor

Our hearts are broken today by the loss of a very special friend, Princess Eleanor. After 10 long years in a puppy mill, she was finally freed in 2014 during ‘Harley to the Rescue’. We named her Eleanor in honor of my (Rudi’s) grandmother. Little did we know she would become a strong voice for puppy mill dogs everywhere. Her adoptive mom, Bridget, quickly became a dear friend and has worked tirelessly to spread awareness.

Bridget, thanks for giving this sweet and very special girl such a wonderful life these last 4 1/2 years. She stole our hearts from the moment we met her, and we could not have asked for a better home for her. The world will not be the same without Eleanor in it, but she made such a difference in the time she was here and free from the cage … thanks to you.

We love you, Eleanor, and we take comfort in knowing that Harley was there to greet you. You will forever hold a very special place in our hearts.
