In Honor of Martin Luther King, Jr.

Today we honor the dream, life, and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

“Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.”

“Never, never be afraid to do what’s right, especially if the well-being of a person or animal is at stake. Society’s punishments are small compared to the wounds we inflict on our soul when we look the other way.”

“The time is always right to do what is right.”

“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”

“There comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular, but he must take it because conscience tells him it is right.”

“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?'”

  1. Beautiful words from a great man. Yes, we all have to do what we can to end all puppy mills, for Harley and Teddy!!

  2. these words are a great inspiration to all who chose to fight – and in our case that fight would be puppy mills and what pain and suffering they inflict. some dogs are never able to come back – some try and some succeed – they should not have to live this fight
