Today would have been Teddy’s 14th birthday. He lived the first 7 years of his life in a puppy mill and the last 6 years and 10 months in loving freedom.
People have asked what they can do to honor his birthday today. Here are a few thoughts:
- Love Like Harley (& Teddy, too!)
- Speak kind words and do kind acts.
- Do good where and when you can.
- Speak up for those who can’t.
- Give of your time to help others.
- Use Teddy’s story to educate others about puppy mills.
And finally, some things we know Teddy would appreciate:
- Give your dog a belly rub.
- Eat a cheeseburger. 😊

Teddy made us understand how horrible puppy mills are which I then adopted a puppy mill mommy. How fortunate I am to have Teddy in my life. Teddy you will be missed but you left me with so much love.
