Youngsters at Harley’s House of Hope

Dan flew down to Roswell, New Mexico today and came home with 6 young Chihuahuas that we saved from a (high-kill) shelter. These pictures were taken after arriving at our home airport (Longmont). We put them all in an x-pen and I sat with them for a bit after I put collars on each of them. And OMGosh!!!!! I haven’t had this much fun in such a long time!

We normally rescue senior dogs through our Harley’s House of Hope program, but someone needed to save these youngsters. A HUGE THANK YOU to Sammye at Friends of Roswell Animals for helping orchestrate the release of these dogs and for locating a great foster home in Roswell until we were able to transport them.

Please join us in welcoming Sylvie, Jerry, Alice, Stanley, Charlie and Donnie to Colorado!
