On behalf of Teddy’s mom, Michele, our hearts are shattered today to share the sad news that Teddy has peacefully crossed the rainbow bridge. Even though we worried that his time was approaching, there was simply no way to be prepared for the reality and absoluteness.
Teddy meant the world to everyone who knew him. He was a good friend, not only to his best buddy, Harley, and his best girl, Gwinnie, but the love and friendship he showed Michele was the deepest and most profound … and she loved him back, equally as much. He was her constant companion and her trusty sidekick.
Teddy was a fighter; a little warrior who learned early on that life can be a struggle, yet through tenacity and perseverance you can make a difference – and not only in your own life, but also in the lives of others. Quiet and loyal, he often sat in the shadows, waiting for the more opportune moment to make a statement. And he used those moments in such memorable ways that will always stay with us.
We can’t imagine a world without Teddy, but that is what we are faced with now. He will forever be in our hearts, never to be forgotten. And he will continue to inspire us.
Rest in peace, Teddy. I know without a doubt that Gwinnie and Harley were there to greet you. We love you beyond measure, and you will always be our little hero. 💔
~ Rudi Taylor
P.S. As you can well imagine, Michele is heartbroken and needs time to grieve. She will post again when she is able, and we respectfully ask for your understanding in giving her whatever time she needs. Please keep Michele and her family in your thoughts and prayers – I know she appreciates them very much.
