We would love nothing more than to spend all our time fighting to end puppy mills, but like most people we have “real” jobs. Luckily we are self-employed and can include Harley’s Dream work into our daily lives. We’ve been in the import/export, wholesale/retail business for the past 30 years. This has allowed us to do something we love …. travel the world. Currently we are in Ubud, Bali, Indonesia on a buying trip and we would like to share with you a very special friend of ours. We’re not sure exactly how many trips we’ve made to this beautiful country, but we’re sure it’s at least 35 trips, and Wayan Putu Artha has always been our driver. Over the years, we’ve watched Wayan grow into an adult, get married and have 3 children. Wayan is kind and caring and he has always listened to our “dog stories” with great interest.
The pictures here are of Wayan with Snowy, a furry little dog that we happened to come across in a little shop while walking down a busy street in Seminyak. We always enjoy meeting dogs while traveling because we miss our own dogs so much … although, Cricket, Stella, Olive, Riley, Fernando and Miss Pickles are doing well and having the best time in the care of Grandma, Grandpa and Aunt Kim!
