“Ask Harley” Billboards in Chicago

Jefferson & Randolph

The following Chicago digital billboards were live at the following locations from March 20 through April 16th and have since moved to 3 new locations (Ashland & Fullerton, Broadway & Irving Park, Milwaukee Ave & Chicago – where they can be seen through May 14th). Arleen, our Chicago-based “roving reporter” provided the following photos and information:

Jefferson & Randolph
“This is just about a block past Union Station (a large train station), so there are a lot of people walking around. Randolph Street is one-way and has an entrance to the Dan Ryan Expressway so there is a lot of traffic heading out to the suburbs – and Harley’s sign is right there as you are headed towards the expressway. Randolph is not only busy during rush hour, but pretty much all day long. So, very busy street and his billboard really stands out on that corner!”

“This area of Chicago is called Lincoln Park. It is quite nice and it is also very densely populated. Lots of young people live in the area and there is lots to do. Halsted street is a very well-travelled street and there is lots of foot traffic in this area. The DePaul University campus is located about 4 blocks or so down the street. There are lots of shops and restaurants. Also, in this area lots of people have dogs – so a great area to educate people about puppy mills. So a great area where lots of people will notice Harley’s sign … I love this location!”

Ogden & Madison
“Ogden runs diagonally so it’s basically a 3-street intersection with lots of traffic. This sign is located on the near west side of the City. It’s a nice area with lots of restaurants, culture and things to do. It’s racially mixed with some very good schools in the area and some very nice homes. There are also some beautiful parks, churches and a couple blocks away, the United Center, where the Chicago Bulls play! I’m sure the sign is seen by many!”

  1. Chicago is where I was born and lived in the area for 44 years! I have asked my friends and family who still live in the area to let me know if they see your billboard. The billboards are a great way to get the word out about puppy mills!
