When we first decided to hold an online auction, our hopes were to raise about $10,000 to $15,000 (with a dream to raise even more). But … the very first day of the week-long auction, bidding reached $15,000!!! We were astounded! We were also feeling very emotional. We realized that in addition to having so many wonderful items available to bid on, the reason that we did – and the driving force – was the love and support everyone has for Harley, Teddy and our mission. Our gratitude cannot be described in words. Honestly, we are still trying to soak it all in.
We cannot thank you enough, dear friends, for donating, bidding, sharing and just “being there.” Never in our wildest dreams did we expect to raise almost $36,000. That money will go far in educating people about puppy mills. Harley is most certainly very proud. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!!

Harley has really touched people’s hearts! Maybe more attention will be paid to the terrible conditions of puppy mills and they will begin being shut down.

Hi Rudi and Dan,I love Harley. He taught me what a puppy mill is. I couldn’t afford to purchase anything from the auction because I am on disability due to brain tumor and subsequent brain surgery that left me with a paralyzed foot. You shared Harley with us all and he is so loved. I live in Northern NJ . I hope you can put a billboard up here. Gratefully,Monica
