Janie Janich put a lot of love into creating a special little polymer clay “Harley” for our Bidding for Change auction. She mailed it to us nearly a week ago and the tracking information said that it was delayed and damaged during transit, so we were more than a bit concerned.
This morning, the little clay Harley arrived in a terribly beaten-up smallish box which had been torn open and taped closed and crushed – nearly destroyed. We opened the box with much trepidation and immediately noticed that Janie included a little note inside: “I hope Angel Harley arrives safely. I gave him a kiss for safe travels.”
Hesitantly, we unwrapped the little clay Harley, and … Janie’s kiss worked! Harley is perfect!
