The above picture was taken this morning. Miss Pickles was sprawled out, enjoying a little sunshine. She loves this position and sometimes she’ll even drag herself along the floor, rubbing her belly on the carpeting … she did that this morning … oooooh! A sign that she was feeling pretty good!!
Miss Pickles is currently taking 5 different medications (3 once a day, 2 four times a day). The goal is to break the pain cycle, which is happening, and then we’ll be able to hopefully medically manage her 2 conditions. We are very grateful for the expert care by her neurologist, Dr. Amy Komitor and the staff at VCA Veterinary Specialists of Loveland, Colorado.
It’s one day at a time with Miss Pickles and she is feeling hopeful, so we are too!
Oh, and the picture below was taken this morning from the “other end”. She’s absolutely adorable, isn’t she?
