Harley received so many birthday cards! Quite a few of them arrived before his birthday (so he saw them!) and many arrived over the past week. Dan and I have also received many beautiful and heartfelt sympathy cards as well. We are humbled by the love we are feeling from all of you. Please know that we are slowly reading all of the cards; sometimes we are simply overwhelmed and the grief comes back in waves, but we are reading them. And we are incredibly grateful.

Some wonderful gifts for Harley, and for Dan and I, have arrived in the mail also. The pillow in this photo (below) is one of them … as you can see, it’s quite special and we love it.
